| THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I haven't updated in months...MONTHS!
So...quick recap... school, work and more school. You're caught
up. I really enjoy my job now...making money is always
good. I'm ready for Christmas break 'cause I LOVE LOVE LOVE my
new house...especially my room!! It rocks. You all
have to visit and see...there's an open invitation. I'm also
flying out to the east coast for the first time to South Carolina to
hook up with some Harding friends and then we're driving to West
Virginia to go snowboarding. I brought my board back from home so
they can take it with them home ... I've been storing it in my closet
and it just hasn't been working out. I like put a hole in the
wall with it so I need to take a little stroll in the hardware section
of Wal*Mart soon.
It's supposed to snow here tomorrow. Yay. We don't get that
too often around here, so it'll be nice...until I fall on some
ice...eh...emergency rooms are my second home anyway.

| What an awesome weekend!! I got to go home!  My new house looks great. I've never seen it without all the boxes and fully furnished. It's crazy though 'cause I couldn't find anything. I feel like I'm in someone else's house. Katy won her race. She is an amazing runner. I love watching her, she's got such a determination. I got to see my grandparents and great-grandpa. I also got to go shopping...found some good stuff. Hope your weekend went well!

| Okay. Definitely a case of the Mundays. I had two major tests and two quizzes today, so I'm a bit burnt out. I'm just glad I don't have to work tonight! But Iota Chi has it's first round of mixers tonight - beach party theme. So I get to prance around in a "wanna-be hawaiian" moo-moo sarong thing. 
I've got my first Anatomy/Phys 2 Test Wednesday... lift up some prayers on my behalf for that one. I love anatomy, there's just so much info I have to recall on a 16-page test!
I'm going home this weekend! It's homecoming for Mustang and Katy's got her first cross-country meet of the season. I can't believe it's her senior year! Maybe she'll win state again this year making it her 3rd! A lot of my family will be in town, so that'll be nice. I also get to go shopping for a dress to wear when I sing in my cousin's wedding next month.

| Classes have begun and I couldn't be more excited. However, I'm sure this feeling will subside sooner than I'm ready. Spanish will be a struggle, but I'm glad my (practically) fluent-in-Spanish roommate will be close to my side.
Lifehouse came and did a concert here at Harding. It was AWESOME!! I got a guitar pick and had it autographed. I had a stinkin' drumstick and it fell out of my hand and when I went to grab it, some chick swooped in and swiped it and took off! Grrr.
The same night my dad had a bit of a scare with some chest pain and had to stay the night in the hospital. All tests came back okay, but keep him in your prayers because they'll be doing more testing soon.
We went to the lake this weekend...we as in me, Jami, Jessica and Cara. It ROCKED. We tubed most of the time 'cause her dad is crazy and throws us around them. It's a great rush. Jami lost her bikini bottoms in the process, so naked hineys were abundant. I'm just glad I invested in a one-piece. I skiied a little bit, but I'm not so great at it. I'm gonna try out wakeboarding next time and see how that goes.

| I got a call today from Harding. We are no longer living in Searcy Hall, we've upgraded to Shores. Jami was so excited! I'm sooo ready to go back to school and I'm sure most of you are as well!!
The parents of the kids I take care of went to Mexico today on a vacation leaving me with their 12, 5 and 3 year olds. They're great kids, but I'm no where NEAR ready to be a mom yet!
Well...the only kitten we had remaining disappeared after our carpet was installed. The guy who did it called over a day later to tell me he found the week old kitten wrapped up in a remnant! I can't believe it survived!! So, the prodical son has returned! Zoe, my dog, is due to have puppies in 7 weeks. We're gonna have all kinds of critters runnin' around the new place.
David came home from Cali and we went to see Wedding Crashers yesterday. It is hilarious and I LOVE Vince Vaughn!!
